how people's attitudes hurt? please explain :)

when it comes to attitude i believe that we must behave ourselves in a good manner. if we tend to have rough attitude it will hurt other people hurt. how? by saying bad things or behave bad people will get hurt because they think they deserve better than that. if we behave people will respect and people will notice that we are educated or at least our parents teach us about attitude itself.
