Present tense is divided into three 
Present simple 
- to state the routine (example: He often goes to work on foot)
- to state the natural facts (example: The sun rises in the east)
- to state the current situation or condition (She's happy)
- to describe appearance ( she's tall and has got long wavy hair)
- to state a schedule and timetables (the bus leaves at 2.35)

Present continous
- to state the activity now (I'm having my dinner)
- to state the activity around now (I'm taking a Spanish course)

Present perfect
- to state about duration and experience (I've worked here for 7 years)
